  • Sharp scissors or a rotary cutter

  • Ruler or quilting template

  • Sewing machine (or hand-sewing needles if you prefer slow stitching)

  • Thread

 Easy Patchwork Tutorial: Pencil Case 🎨 ✂️🧩

Here’s a simple project to get you started.

You’ll need:

  • 8–10 fabric squares (10x10 cm)

  • 1 zipper (20 cm)

  • Lining fabric

  • Sewing machine + thread

Steps:

  1. Arrange fabric squares in 2 rows (front and back of case).

  2. Sew squares together into 2 panels. Press seams flat.

  3. Place zipper face down on the top edge of one panel, sew in place. Repeat with the other panel.

  4. Add lining fabric behind each panel and stitch around edges.

  5. Sew panels together (right sides facing), leaving zipper slightly open.

  6. Turn inside out and press.
